TV
I love TV. There are oh-so-many things that you can watch on TV: locally produced shows (GMA, ABS-CBN, etc), syndicated talk shows, reality shows, news programs (of course), documentaries, the list simply goes on. Whether it be cable or over-the-air TV, I watch it.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t just watch anything! Even so, there’s nothing wrong with watching anything on TV. Besides, it’s not like my parents have to check what I’m watching when the PG-13 rating shows up on screen.
One thing that surprises me about TV is how people react to it. They talk about it, they share amongst each other what they think about a certain program. Not to mention how people react while watching it.
My wife (who is such a great girl, btw) is so fun to watch while she’s on the boob tube. Compared to her, I’d consider myself as a passive TV viewer. I just sit there and watch. I may laugh at some joke thrown or may hold my breath when a thrilling scene comes up, but I never could match how passionate my wife reacts to what’s up on TV.
Like now, as I am writing this, she is watching Survivor Philippines. I don’t know what’s going on there, but she’s all-out with reactions. She laughs, screams, shouts at one player and even asks a question (to whom, I really don’t know). Well, at least I know she’s in a good mood. She’s like that when she’s really in a good mood.
Well, good for me.
