Daily Habit – June 10, 2009

It’s another Wednesday. Medyo na-late na naman kami ng gising. Traffic na naman. Haaaay, what’s new with that?

A plurk-friend posted this in, well, where else but Plurk. I thought it was really funny. What do you think?

As I was about to enter the office building I noticed the people who were smoking outside. Then, for a moment, I felt guilty. I said, how could I have allowed myself destroy my body for so many years? I should’ve stopped when it was easier. I should have stopped many many years ago. Then I decided I shouldn’t feel that way anymore. Besides, I should be proud of myself. I’ve quit smoking. It’s been almost 3 years now.

Random stuff:
  • Unfortunately, na-late ulit si misis. We’ll make up for that and try better tomorrow.
  • I did 50 crunches on my bench last night. Also did 3 sets of 15 reps of dumbell flyes. I have to improve on my workout regimen because I really haven’t really planned out a full work-out plan yet. That’ll be another personal project for me. Ok, that’s officially on my list na.
  • I’d rather pick fish, chicken or veggies over pork/beef but this morning, I had longganisa meal from McDo for lunch. Needed a quick fix, that’s why.
  • Learned disturbing facts about some people. The gall of these people! Makes you really think about morality, righteousness, justice, and karma. But then, I realized I should focus on myself and try to live a decent life. Di ba?
  • Plurkers, my karma reached 25+!!! I’ve unlocked some animated icons! Yey!!!
  • I’m doing research. I’m trying to find an alternative to pull-ups for my back, but I guess there really isn’t any alternative. I guess the closest (if one can call it that) would be dumbbell rows. Darn. I really need to pull-out my exercise machine from my parents house and put it in my garage. If only I have the means to do that.
  • Thought: According to the American Heart Association, a healthy adult should be getting 30 minutes of moderate intensity activity five days a week. Wow. So, how do you think you fare?

After I emptied my bladder this morning, again, I checked my weight. It’s 153.2 lbs. Gosh, have you noticed that it pretty much is the same? I really need to exert more effort on exercise (which is, you should admit, very hard to do).
