Breathe
Today is Pasig day! It’s a holiday in Pasig which means there’s no work which also means my wife gets to stay home! Yey!
As usual, as part of my daily routine, I check my weight after I empty my bladder. Well, it hasn’t changed one bit. I’m still 153.6 lbs.
A different juice today. It’s Cranberry and Kiwi again (see below).
Finally! I did a 20-minute cardio. Remember that playlist I made yesterday? Well, I was able to use that today! I couldn’t believe how much I’ve perspired after that (see below). Hey, have you noticed what I was drinking?
I thought my cardio was intense. I was doing some thai-boxing moves that my wife suggested (she has a VCD). I was dancing and moving my arms up, down, side-to-side. For the longest time, I haven’t done any cario exercise so I was catching my breath when I completed the whole 20-minute routine.
Later on, I did the following:
- 3×12 dumbbell flyes
- 3×15 dumbbell presses
- 2×25 crunches
- Push-ups? I tried to complete one set, but my body was beaten to a pulp already. Maybe I will have success tomorrow. Cardio does have an impact on over-all performance. I guess I’ve depleted some of the energy I needed AND it sort of wears some of the muscles I used when I did the cardio.
I’m thinking about slowly introducing some other exercises into my routine such as lunges. I might incorporate into my routine really soon. But I still haven’t made up my mind about the pull-ups. I’ve seen a pull-up bar, or at least something which you can use for pull-ups, in Toby’s Southmall. (See picture).
It’s 1,595 pesos. So, It’s not as expense as the Weider Pro bench, but it’s not really cheap either. I already know where to install this if ever I would buy this but ONLY if my wife agrees to it.
