Post-badminton Workout!

Ok, fine. I wasn’t able to do any workout this morning, but that’s ok. I told myself I’m going to do intense cardio, so that’ll compensate for my “laziness” today.
JC and I worked it out! We won all 3 games we played! Yes!!! I hope we’ll continue with this winning streak over the next few weeks.
I couldn’t help it. I had to workout when I got home. I noticed that my muscles didn’t feel as sore as the first time I played with the guys. I guess the cardio (running on the treadmill for 30 mins) that I’ve been doing the past couple of days have helped prepare me for the intense stop-and-go motion like running to and from the base of the court.

I didn’t do the lateral raises or the side bends. I wanted to save time in the workout and focus on these major muscles.

Badminton day!

Good morning! I’m waiting for our water tank to be filled up and as I’m waiting, I thought, why not write a short one.

Checked my weight today. Darn, I gained. 149.2 pounds. Well, I guess that happens when you eat a “little too much”. Yesterday, apart from my daily requirements I ate jollibee’s hotdog and ginormous (that’s gigantic+enormous) fries for merienda. I really didn’t need to eat. I just felt like eating.

The most difficult part of bulking (for mass) and cutting (for fat) is the diet. Of course, I’m not doing that at the same time. It’s supposed to work in stages but I’d like to believe that I can do that in “mini-stages”.

I have to eat as often as possible while making sure I maintain a calorie deficit. What made it worst yesterday was that I wasn’t able to drop by the gym (as we went home later than usual).

But today is BADMINTON DAY! Yey! I hope JC and I could beat all our opponents today. Either way, the cardio activity is enough consolation!

Time to take a bath. Now I’m torn between doing a “light” set first then hit the showers or to drop it altogether.

Will let you know when I blog again later in the office or after I get back home. In the meantime, let’s hope we enjoy our day!

Guilty!

Sige na nga. I am guilty. Yes, I admit, I haven’t been posting lately. Wow! I think my last post was dated July 26 (or 27). I’m not even sure.

I have been busy. Work? Sure. But aside from that, I’ve been busy updating my other sites. Darn. I used to say that I’ll never neglect my multiply, but now, I realized, it’s least updated social site I update. My bad.

So, what have I been doing? Again, it’s mostly updating my other sites (in order of frequency): Plurk, Facebook, Bodybuilding.com, and lastly, Multiply. I update my status a number of times a day. I post pictures (progress pictures) on my BodySpace. I respond to my friends’ taunts and comments. Check out other fitness enthusiasts. Add more friends in my network (classmates from high school and/or college, and colleagues). Then I realized. I only upload pictures to my Media locker (via AutoUploader pa!), and I haven’t even shared them yet!!!

Ok back to my old daily habit.

So, I checked my weight today. Yeah. It’s 148.6 pounds. I gained compared to 147.2 pounds yesterday. That’s ok. I noticed that I average on 148~149 pounds. Good enough.

As usual, I did my routine. Again, I changed it a bit.

I’m still deciding if I’m going to go over at Gold’s for cardio. Yesterday and the other day, I was on the treadmill for 30 minutes. I plan to do that every day now. I’m hoping that’ll speed up my metabolism a little more. I really want to be leaner. As you probably have noticed, I’ve lost some weight already and fortunately my body is starting to show some definition. SOME.

Came in late for work today. Darn. 5 minutes. I should’ve parked at McDonald’s El Pueblo first, went up to log, go back down and park my car in Megamall. Fine, I’ll do that next time.

Work has been… interesting. Interestingly annoying. Ha-ha-ha. Let’s just say there are things I cannot control. But I know that I can control some things and I’ll start with that.

I’ll wrap this up. I’ll start blogging again soon. I’ll still blog the previous days (probably block ‘backwards’). Alam ninyo na, OC e. Ha-ha-ha.
