Samsung Galaxy S scheduled in June, will serve Froyo later

Remember how “ecstatic” I was when I learned that the Samsung Galaxy S is going to have 512MB of RAM?
Well, I heard news that definitely pushed me to the edge!
I’m now 98% decided that I’m going to get this on my birthday! Samsung have confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S will be upgraded to Android 2.2, or also known as FroYo, later this year.
Of course, other droids already got their upgrades (Nexus One, of course), but that’s because these phones run the vanilla Android. Samsung have to update their customizations, so you can understand this will take time.
